General grant applications for operating, program, or project requests are due the first Friday of January, April, and October for consideration in the following month’s grant cycle. Grant requests will be decided every quarter in February, May, and November.
February: Culture & Art and Civic & Community Services
May: Poverty Alleviation & Hunger and Environment
August: Capital (Major Capital Grant allocations may be considered again in 2027 but are not open at this time)
November: Education & Youth Services and Diversity

SPECIAL NOTICE:
AS OF OCTOBER 2026, ALL applications and supporting documents MUST BE submitted through our new online application. Applications will no longer be accepted by email or mail unless extraordinary circumstances prevent use of the online application.
The online application is intended to simplify the process for applicants and minimize the amount of information required for submission. It also contains different questions and requirements from the original application, and all applicants must use the new online application.
